Mysore Mentorship

Uplevel your teaching game as an established teacher

Why choose this mentorship?

Signing up for this Mysore mentorship with Jade will take your yoga teaching skills to the next level. If you're an established yoga teacher who'd like to learn the skills to confidently teach Mysore-style Ashtanga, you've come to the right place.

Who is it for?

This Mentorship is a 12-month program for teachers who wish to uplevel their teaching skills and personal self-development. The program is for teachers who have an established yoga practice of 5+ years, who have also been exposed to teaching Mysore style and/or practicing Ashtanga yoga Mysore style.

That being said, when applying for this Mentorship Program, please consider the fact that you'll be learning in the context of the Ashtanga yoga method within the Mysore style setting of teaching and practice. What you'll learn is invaluable and applies to most Hatha practices that we know today.

How it works

Each teacher works closely alongside Jade Skinner, as well as the other Mysore teachers, both in-studio and the virtual shala. All applicants will be required to practice with Jade for one month before being accepted onto the Mentorship Program.

  • This is a 12-month mentorship program.
  • As a mentee, you'll work closely alongside Jade in both the physical and virtual shala.
  • You'll also be part of a bigger group of mentees and we'll meet once a month to discuss various topics around teaching, holding space, language, communication, problem solving, and teacher/student progress.
  • The program doesn't guarantee a permanent teaching position, but does offer subbing status.
