Yoga Teacher Training

Learn to teach yoga; teach yoga to learn

Why do a teacher training?

Do you love yoga so much that you want to share it with everyone you know?  Maybe you’re looking to understand the practice of yoga more on a personal level?  I invite you to join me,  Jade Skinner of Sacred Jade Yoga, YA certified E-RYT 500/ YAECP, for a 5-month journey as I guide you through one of the most profound, transformative experiences of your life!  Immerse yourself in 200+ hours of in-depth study into the heart of yoga.

What exactly is a yoga teacher training?

Sacred Jade Yoga Teacher Training program is designed for the aspiring yoga teacher, and for those wanting to explore personal self-development.  Sacred Jade Yoga is a Vinyasa-based school with deep roots in the Ashtanga method, the foundation for most modern day yoga practices.  This training unpacks the extensive history of yogic philosophy, functional anatomy and biomechanics of the human body, structured and creative sequencing, personalized instruction, uncovering YOUR ‘why’,  how to authentically hold space, self-care practices, diversity, living your yoga, and so much more!  Jade encourages curiosity, consistency, and self- challenge with a friendly reminder that love, grace and compassion are at the forefront of growth and healing.

Sacred Jade Yoga Teacher Training is a RYS 200 Yoga Alliance accredited school.

"Very insightful and 100% worth it..."

“This course was very insightful and 100% worth it. I’ve learned so many things from life lessons, more about the human body, ways to deepen my own yoga practice, and how to teach yoga based upon experience and knowledge within my own practice. Jade made every lecture interesting and chock full of information. Every practice she led was always another step to being yoga. Jade has a way of making training fun and stern at the same time, so we were able to get much more out of the experience. She always had extra information and was very attentive to each of us individually. I loved it and I would recommend it to anyone who not only wants to become a certified yoga instructor, but would want to experience a change of life through the practice and knowledge of yoga.” ~ Kayla Martir

"Nothing short of life changing..."

“Jade is an incredibly dedicated, industrious, knowledgeable, and capable individual with a heart of gold. I took my 200 hr teacher training with her and it was nothing short of life changing. Jade strikes a beautiful balance of intensity and compassion in her teaching and training. Jade leaves room for self-adjustment, flexibility, and discovery while also advocating for consistency, discipline, and self-challenge. One of the things I most admire about Jade is her belief in every single one of her students – if you decide to embrace her as a teacher, she will meet you where you’re at 100% of the time, help you to grow, and wish you the best.” ~ Mitchell Kuhn

Sound interesting?

Before you apply, take a moment to consider these questions:

  • Do you have a consistent, physical yoga practice of 2 years or longer? (Teaching experience not required.)
  • Have you taken a class from me in-person or on a virtual platform? (It’s recommended that you attend one or more of my classes to get a feel for my style of teaching. In order to gain as much from the training as you can, it’s of the utmost importance that both teacher and student are right for each other.)

Ready to take the next step?

I encourage you to fill out this form in one single, thoughtful session to write from your instinct, rather than overthink the questions. I’ll follow up with you after I receive your application.
